Northland Lodge Singalong/Talent Show

Sing-a-Long Events

Our Soul satisfying singalongs started in the 70’s with Dick and Ramona harmonizing to Dick’s old guitar. When moved to sing in front of the fireplace, the whole room became a stage. As fun loving guests contributed gut buckets from an old wash tub, stumpf fiddles, washboards, wigs, silly hats and tons of laughter, our singalong/talent show took on a life of its own which has carried into another generation. Sometimes now we just facilitate the flow of talent to the stage which has become a wonderful planned and spontaneous free-for-all.

Children Gathering at Northland LodgeWeek after week loving families gather in the lodge providing fertile ground for budding performers. Basking in the warmth of a beaming receptive audience and showered with applause, all ages come alive. Each person contributes their unique sound which is the secret of our singalong success and magic: the delight of various talents shared; the joy of hearts in harmony for the Great Concert of Life.
